From a young age, my sister and I stopped going on family vacations during the summer, so we could spend every day at the stables with our friends . But growing up, I needed to make a choice. A career as a rider was out of the question, becoming a vet was not for me, and starting a livery was not going to keep me happy for long. But not having horse-time as the main part of my day just didn’t feel right. Feeling a bit lost, I chose to become a physiotherapist.

During my third year, when I found out there was a thing such as “equine physiotherapy” , everything fell into place. This was what I wanted to do with my life! I didn’t just want to work with horses, I wanted to make them feel good. From then on, this has been my main focus, and for the first time in my life I even started enjoying school. After 7 years of working, planning, and dreaming about this every single day, I still cannot believe I am this lucky…

I have discovered how to make my passion into my life: waking up every day and having the pleasure of working with horses and their owners to make them a happy and successful combination!
